DIY Handlettered Chalkboard Easter Eggs

Creative LifestyleGina PaulsonComment

Hey Guys! I wanted to share a little EASY and QUICK Easter DIY! I'm teaming up with VersaChalk on this for some Chalkboard Easter Eggs! I really think these would make awesome place cards for any of you hosting Easter brunch or dinner. You could also use them as easter basket labels, dish labels, or just cute little decor! They took me about twenty minutes- BOOM, EASY! Here's what you'll need:

First I painted the eggs with chalkboard paint. You could spray paint them too if you have that, but this is what I had on hand. I started with one half, let it dry then painted the other half. Once dried, I used my chalkboard markers to write a little message on them! Easy, easy, easy! My followers can get 10% off of Versapen Chalk Markers on their website and use code "ELEVEN"

Have a great Easter, friends! Share any chalkboard eggs with me on Instagram!!

REAL WEDDING: Karlie + Alec

Brace yourselves for some seriously gorgeous images, two beautiful humans, and a wedding that looked ten times perfect. Karlie and Alec, you two rule. Karlie is a Seattle blogger based in the PNW and if you haven't checked out her blog, do so HERE, she's seriously adorable. Karlie reached out to me during this time last year and we actually sent out some Galentines Day cards to her ladies. Then we did some envelopes for her invitations. But our biggest project was definitely her day of goods. She managed so find me some dreamy wood (in my world, we're talking smooth, finished, thick and nice cuts of wood!) She dropped these off at my house for me and I painted and lettered them for her. This was a new color of wood for me and I instantly fell in love with its lightness!
